Sampler & Sample Import:
The sampler features 16 trigger pads for live pattern recording and sound control with multi-touch support enabling you to load, slice, tune, and trigger sounds. The high quality sample sound banks from featured artists include a broad variety of genres (inc. BreakBeat, Drum & Bass, Dub, Electronica, Funk) and sound amazing but things start to get really interesting when you start uploading samples (AIFF & WAVE) from the many BeatMaker Kits available or from your own library using the free BeatPack desktop application.

Record samples directly from the iPhone built-in microphone or handset allowing you to grab ‘ambient’ sounds wherever you are and drop them instantly in your composition.	This much requested feature update means you can now import your BeatMaker arrangements into desktop software such as Ableton Live and Cubase…which nullifies the arguments that this is merely a stand-alone toy.	Your whole track or individual channels can be exported to WAV for playback or import into your DAW.

Effects:
The included FX offer respectable sound sculpting possibilities, with 2 channels holding up to 4 effects each. You can assign each sample pad to either one of these 2 effects channels and create new rhythmic patterns to drum loops and textures.
